THE ASK

Design a responsive website on the subject of your choice. It can be an interactive online resume/portfolio, a company website, re-doing an existing non-profit website, a generic service website or a generic E-commerce website. Ensure you include a logo system, navigation, header, footer, call to action, social media links and appropriate photography within the website design meeting both functionality and aesthetics.

THE APPROACH

The e-commerce website is focused on an online furniture store ‘Comfort Zone.’ This fictional e-commerce store supports the brand offering of quality and comfort and is new, innovative and modern. The landing page and responsive design showcases all shopping options, including a fall lookbook of current trends. The website also showcases their Instagram community and promotes a contest encouraging customers to interact with the store by posting photos of their space with the tag line #mycomfortzone. The website is designed to reflect the foundation of the brand. The communication goal and design elements showcased highlight these attributes while applying to the professional target audience.
