THE ASK
Create a visual identity for a landscape architecture firm: including a logo system, colour palette and typography with two execution approaches that include a folder design and a billboard design.
THE APPROACH
The brand offering of Green Space provides expertise in landscape architecture, arboriculture, urban ecology, LEED and green roof design. Green Space strive to augment the urban experience by connecting people to nature and enhancing site ecologies. The design represent the brand’s focus on expert and professional services that apply to their corporate and professional services that apply to their corporate and professional target audience as well as their passionate professional voice and naturally creative personality.
COLOUR PALETTE & TYPOGRAPHY
EXECUTION APPROACH 01
This approach showcases Green Space’s professionalism in a clean and minimal look that focuses on the primary green colour for the brand, Pantone 357C. It also includes the quaternary colour, yellow, Pantone 1225C. This design approach plays on the primary geometric shapes in the logo. It utilizes an enlarged section of the logo shape and focuses on the brand’s message of enriching the urban environment and site ecologies through the use of imagery and shape.
EXECUTION APPROACH 02
This approach showcases their brand professionalism in a clean and minimal look that focuses on white and the secondary colour for the brand, Pantone Gray Cool 5C and as well showcases the other brand colours in the imagery. NAture and people are full colour to references their highlighted connection to nature with their urban environment, while the rest of the image remains in grayscale. This also acts to reference the brand;s passionate professional and creative personality.
